Okay, so in the course of 30 minutes, I just stumbled upon 3 things that hyped me up for this fall!!

Number 1: Ender's Game Movie![]

This book is definitely a contender for my favorite book of all time! I kept thinking it'd be awesome if they made a movie about it, but pretty hard to pull off a good one. I remember Eragon in particular disappointing me (though I lost all interest in the series and looking back, I feel as though it seemed like an overrated book lol).

Anyway, I have mixed feelings about the trailer.

  1. Major Anderson was a girl this entire time?!?!?!?!?
  2. Ender and Rackham aren't the way I pictured em, but eh.
  3. The spaceship scenes looked epic. Then again, a lot of movies have been upping their epicness quality lately. Can't wait to see what the First Invasion looked like. And the other space battles.
  4. The battleroom looked awesome. Can't wait to see their interpretation of how the battles go.

Anyway, definitely going to see this movie on opening night/weekend!!

Number 2: Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD![]

Gameplay.

I LOVED this game! It was the first LoZ game I played, and the only one I think(not counting the first two that I got for free on my 3DS but only played for like two minutes then got bored lol). Anyway, I think it's awesome that they're rereleasing it in HD. Always nice to see classic/old games get graphics touched up. Too bad I don't have a WiiU...

Hope they release it for the 3DS! Or maybe I can get an emulator or something.

Number 3: Pokemon X and Y![]

Gameplay! I already knew about movement around the world map, but the battle animations are what sort of surprised me here. The graphics are a huuuge step up from Black and White, and probably even surpass Colosseum/Gale of Darkness! Now all they need to do is make battles in real time, or at least make time a factor. Sort of like the battle system in FFIV, with cast times for the more powerful attacks, and real time delays between two attacks, if that makes any sense. That might take away the simpleness charm of Pokemon, though.

And this just made me think of this video lol:

Conclusion[]

All three of these things are coming this fall I think!

And I really only wanted to talk about the Ender's Game movie, but threw in the other two just because they sort of hyped me up too :p
