The trailer is an out-of-show promotional video for The Amazing World of Gumball.

Plot

It begins with the camera passing by Principal Brown's house as a voice says "In a world in chaos..." Principal Brown is visible in the same shot and can be seen watering his lawn then waves to the camera. The screen fades to one of the halls in Elmore Junior High as Carmen and Alan attempt to kiss, however Alan pops because he is a balloon, and Carmen is a cactus. The scene cuts to Gumball and Darwin doing dramatic poses. Gumball asks Darwin what is with his voice. Darwin replies that it is his "movie voice." Gumball says that his voice sounds like a gargling gravel. Darwin stands up with his flippers on his hips. He asks if Gumball wants to make the trailer average or good. Gumball replies "whatever." They count to three and jump out of the screen showing a sign that says heroism. Darwin is up a tree crying "help!" and Gumball tries to save him with a garbage bin while William, Anton, and Banana Joe watch them. Darwin yells "great!" and falls down straight onto the garbage bin, causing Anton to scream. Another scene shows a family feud of Gumball and Richard fighting over the remote. Anais laughs and Nicole looks confused. The remote falls into Richard's mouth and whenever he hiccups, the channel on the TV changes. Another scene shows a sign that reads danger where Gumball throws a fire extinguisher and accidentally hits Tina and she chases him. Another scene shows Marvin, who is slowly riding to a sewer hole. Another scene shows Gumball snatching Anais' ice cream and Anais gives him several slaps on the face. Another scene shows Richard jiggling his nipples left while Nicole laughs as Mr. Small watches from afar, setting his eyes on fire. Another scene shows Penny kissing Gumball, then he starts blushing madly. The next scene shows Richard making a sandwich then it accidentally falls making him scream dramatically. In some short scenes, Darwin shows off his muscles, Banana Joe taking off his peel, Carrie trying to possess, Donut Cop saluting, Bobert in combat mode, Hector stomping a car, Sussie smiling, and finally, Gumball and Darwin jumping out of the screen while a TV shows a massive explosion. The last scene shows everyone saying the show's title.

• Although it is cut in the United States, the brief scene where Anton screams after Darwin falls on the dumpster is present in international showings.
• "Weird Like You And Me," a song from season four of the series, references this trailer.
  • It is also referenced in "The Nemesis" when Gumball and Darwin sing Rob's name on the bus.

Goofs/errors

• When all of the characters say "The Amazing World of Gumball," Sal Left Thumb, Anton, and the Donut Cop appear to move with the camera view.
  • Masami's body is also transparent for a few split seconds.
• When Gumball is running away from Tina, his voice echos.
• After the scene with Carmen popping Alan, Molly is absent from several frames, despite being visible seconds before.
• During the whole "movie voice" scene in the school hallway, Darwin is missing his eyelashes for a few seconds.
• At the end of the trailer, the Wattersons briefly warp over the rainbow transition circle.

[There is camera static before it pans to Nigel Brown watering his lawn.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] In a world in chaos.

[Nigel Brown then looks at the camera.]

Nigel Brown: Oh, hello!

Gumball and Darwin: Da-na-na

[It then fades to the students of Elmore Junior High. The camera focuses on Alan and Carmen about to kiss.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Love has no place.

[Alan and Carmen attempt to kiss, but Alan pops, shocking Carmen.]

Gumball and Darwin: Da-na-na

[The Camera then fades to Gumball and Darwin posing for the trailer.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Two heroes fight for the power of friendship.

Gumball: Dude, what's with the voice?

Darwin: [Movie voice] It's my movie voice.

Gumball: It sounds like your gargling gravel.

[Darwin stands upright.]

Darwin: Look, do you want this trailer to be average, or do you want it to be good?

Gumball: Alright, whatever. Ok,

Gumball and Darwin: 3, 2, 1, power jump!

[They both jump out of camera, while it cuts to a sign that says, Heroism.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Heroism.

[Darwin is seen stuck on top of a tree.]

Darwin: Help! Help! HELP!

[Gumball runs with a large garbage bin.]

Gumball: Don't worry buddy, I'll save you!

Darwin: Great!

[Gumball hadn't opened the garbage lid and which Darwin fell on top of.]

Anton: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

[It cuts to Gumball and Richard fighting over the remote.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Family Drama.

Gumball: Give me the remote! Give it Back!

[The remote falls into Richard's mouth, which he swallows. The channel starts changing every time Richard hiccups.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Danger.

[Gumball has a fire extinguisher which he throws at Tina. He then starts running as Tina chases after him.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Suspense.

[Marvin is smiling at the camera while riding his electric scooter. He is slowly moving towards an open manhole and then falls into it.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Kung-Fu.

[Gumball steals Anais' ice cream so she slaps Gumball in the face a couple of times. Gumball gets scared and gives her ice cream back.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Horror.

[Richard's belly is shaking while the camera is zoomed in on it. The camera then zooms out and shows Nicole laughing at it, while Mr. Small turns around to show that his eyes are on fire.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Love.

[Gumball sits next to Penny in the Cafeteria. She kisses Gumball which turns him red and blushed out.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Tragedy.

[Richard is spreading butter on his bread but then he drops it.]

Richard: Noooooooooooo!

Darwin: [Movie voice] Muscles,

[Darwin flexes his muscles to the camera.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Bananas,

[Banana Joe takes off his peel.]

Darwin: [Movie voice]: Ghosts,

[Carrie is seen trying to possess Gumball.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Donuts,

[Donut Cop solutes the camera.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Robots,

[Bobert is in his combat mode, turning around to face the camera.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Giants,

[Hector steps on a car.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Girls,

[Sussie smiles at the camera.]

Darwin: [Movie voice] Explosions!

[Gumball and Darwin runs off as the camera zooms into the television playing explosions.]

[Cuts to everyone outside of the Wattersons' house.]
