Main
- Chatbans are bans used as punishment for violating the chat guidelines or causing disruption.
- In most cases, a user should be warned before being kicked.
- This excludes spam, slurs, insults, graphic links or floods.
- Spam is the most common reason for an infinite chatban. There are other reasons though, such as:
- Sock-puppetry
- Repeated intimidating behaviour
- Other Terms of Use violations
- Moderators aren't allowed to include offensive or insulting language in their ban reasons unless quoting from the banned user.
Other
- Keep in mind that each moderator can rule out their own guidelines upon what they believe is fair.
