The shooting star is a minor character in The Amazing World of Gumball. He is the host of television game show Win or Don't Win. His first appearance is in "The Mustache," when he is waiting at a bus stop.

Appearance

The shooting star appears to be simply a bipedal, glowing yellow star. A small rainbow trails behind his body, making him appear like a shooting star and not just a regular star. His limbs, like his facial features, are black and simplistic, only formed by lines.

• "The Mustache": He is seen waiting for the bus when Gumball and Darwin wish upon him to become grown men.
• "The Helmet": He is seen hosting Win or Don't Win with Richard.

Season 2

• "The Castle": He is seen on TV in the Wattersons' house.
• "The Boombox": He is seen hosting Win or Don't Win with Donald.
• "The Internet": He is one of the drivers involved in a massive car pile-up.

Season 3

• "The Extras": His first major role. He is happy for Gary's victory on Win or Don't Win until Gary starts going crazy. He is also seen singing "Just Notice Us."
• "The Gripes": He is seen with the crowd cheering for Gumball and Darwin.
• "The Law": He falls from the sky and lands in an alley.
• "The Butterfly": He is knocked over at the mall.
• "The Oracle": He is in the crowd racing to be the 1,000,000^th customer at the mall.

Season 4

• "The Others": He is seen in the crowd cheering for Clare.
• "The Parking": He watches a movie.
• "The Uploads": He is in a thumbnail of one of the videos on Elmore Stream-It's home page.
• "The Wicked": He flees from Mrs. Robinson when she drives a stolen car through the Elmore Mall.
• "The Signal": His voice is heard coming from Richard due to glitches in the universe.
• "The Awkwardness": He is on the bus that picks up Gumball and Hot Dog Guy.
• "The Scam": He is outside Elmore Junior High.

• "The Diet": He is part of the crowd watching Richard pose with the hose.
• "The Worst": He is on the bus.
• "The Line": He is one of the people running to the first showing of Stellar Odyssey.
• "The List": He is seen cheering for Gumball and Darwin during a marathon.

• "The Vegging": He is seen hosting Win or Don't Win with Gary.
• "The Awareness": He is seen in the audience during a marathon.
• "The Slip": He is in Richard's dream.
