The sausage dog is a minor character in The Amazing World of Gumball. The dog resembles a dachshund, but is more shaped like an actual sausage, due to the dachshund's common nickname, "wiener dog." The dog makes his first appearance in "The Game," where he is seen chasing Gumball in a meat suit down the street with several other dogs.

Appearance

He is a small sausage that is colored a bright red with eyes similar to googly eyes. His muzzle is quite long and has a black nose at the end of it. He has very small legs and tail.

Season 2

• "The Game": He can be seen chasing Gumball. Two other dogs that look like him but are colored differently appear as well.
• "The World": The dog makes a cameo appearance singing the "Amazing World of Elmore" musical number. His lookalikes also appear.

Season 3

• "The Extras": His first major role. The dog screams at the sight of the Pepperonis kissing, and can later be seen singing "Just Notice Us."
• "The Allergy": "Porky" can be seen walking him.
• "The Downer": He makes a cameo while Gumball is causing a traffic jam.

Season 4

• "The Return": Tony walks him as Richard crashes through a house.
• "The Nemesis": "Porky" walks with him at night.
• "The Comic": He can briefly be seen in Elmore Park.
• "The Traitor": He is being walked by "Porky."
• "The Origins: Part Two": He is seen with the other pets and Darwin inside the pest controller's van.
• "The Compilation": A blue variation appears.

Season 5

• "The Test": He can be seen walking with "Porky" again in the park.
• "The Ollie": He laughs at Gumball.
• "The Stars": Martha is seen walking him.
• "The Weirdo": He is seen with Sussie.
• "The Petals": He is being walked by "Porky" at the park.
