Character Information
|
Peter Pepperoni is a minor character in The Amazing World of Gumball. His first appearance was in "The Spinoffs;" he later appeared and had his first (and only) major role in "The Understanding" when he was new to Elmore Junior High.
Appearance
He is an anthropomorphic pepperoni slice and wears a dark blue hat, glasses, blue pants, light brown shoes, and a green shirt that is tucked into his pants. His nose resembles his mother's, he has green lips like his father, and he has buck teeth. His eyes resemble both his parents' eyes.
Personality
Peter speaks in nonsensical sentences that only he and his family can understand. Despite this, he remains cheerful and social, treating Gumball and Darwin as good friends despite being very new to the school. However, a different side of his personality is shown near the end of the episode, where he and his parents are shown to be radical criminals, stealing and destroying important documents from the city hall. He does attempt to apologize for his actions at the end, showing that he regrets his criminal acts.

Trivia
- The way Gumball and Darwin cannot understand his slang is similar to how Rattles cannot understand Angie Vanderloo's slang in the Arthur episode "Whip. Mix. Blend."
- Peter speaks in anastrophe, meaning he reverses the usual order of clauses in his sentences when talking to others, similar to Bowyer from Super Mario RPG.
