Nicky Jones (born Nicholas Peter Jones on July 16th, 1996) is an American voice actor. He is best known as the voice of Chowder from the series of the same name. He also provided the voice of Gumball in the early reel of The Amazing World of Gumball.
In a 2023 interview he revealed that he was in fact asked to continue voicing Gumball in the series proper, but ultimately declined the role as he would have had to move to the UK for eight months at a time in order to record for it.[1] He also claimed that he recorded more for Gumball than is publically available in the Early Reel, though it is unclear if this is true or simply him misremembering.
