Michael Hills, more commonly known as Mike The Microphone Guy, is a minor character in The Amazing World of Gumball. He makes his first appearance in "The Oracle."

Appearance

He is a humanoid dressed in a brown trench coat and boots. His head is a handheld microphone and he detaches it to interview people.

• "The Oracle": His physical debut. He reports Gumball's nudity on Elmore News.

• "The Nest": He reports rampage of the Evil Turtle's babies and is overtaken by them.
• "The Compilation": He interviews Felicity, and later sings part of "Weird Like You And Me" with Ken.

Season 5

• "The Choices": He is at the side of the street during a traffic jam.
• "The Diet": He reports on Richard's muscles.
• "The Menu": He interviews Gumball and Darwin.
• "The Heist": He is on TV at the bank. Later, he reports Richard's bank robbery.
• "The Best": He reports Carmen's expulsion.
• "The Nuisance": He is in a magazine, interviewing Gary.
• "The News": His first major role, he reports the news.

• "The Vegging": He interviews Gumball, Darwin, Anais, and their mother, and later he reports Anais, Nicole, and Richard's crisis.
• "The Cage": He is in the cage-fighting arena audience and mocks Mr. Corneille.
• "The Faith": He is on TV in the opening, and later appears in a newspaper interviewing Gary.
• "The Pact": He is on a newspaper interviewing Gary.
• "The Web": He is on a website.
