Juan Pedro Arroyo Molina is an animator, director and visual developer. He is also a lead animator at The Line animation studio. He worked as an animator on seasons 3[1] through 6 of The Amazing World of Gumball.
Career[]
When he was a child, he looked up to people who could draw or animate. He found inspiration in Disney's animations, which he watched on television. At school, he decided to do Fine Arts. His parents also draw a lot and support him.[2]
He started animating when he enroled in Faculty of Fine Arts, Alonso Cano de Granada and Polytechnic University of Valencia.[3] The more time he put into his animation, the more he realized he liked to animate. Juan also liked to see people’s reactions to his drawings.[4]
The Amazing World of Gumball[]
In 2014, Juan was working at Cartoon Network Europe. In season 3 of The Amazing World of Gumball, he did the cleanup stills and was also an animation assistant[5]. He started as 2D animator on The Amazing World of Gumball in seasons 4 and 5. He then became a 2D Animation Supervisior in season 6. As a Supervisor for The Amazing World of Gumball, he directs 25-30 2D animators. He divides the seasons with his partner and transmit to the animation team. [6]

Trivia[]
- Juan’s favorite scene that he animated for the whole show is the transformation scene from "The Nuisance."[7]
- "The Console" is one of his favorite episode from the series.[8]
- Juan made a short cameo in "The Spinoffs," dressed as a sock puppet.[9]
