Jared Dawson is a minor character in The Amazing World of Gumball who makes his first appearance in "The Others," and reappears in "The Gift." He is Clare's boyfriend.

Appearance

Jared is a pale yellow puppet with wavy white hair and a pink nose. He wears baggy white jeans and a black T-shirt. He has yellow sneakers that match his skin tone and feature pink soles.

Season 4

• "The Others": His debut. Gumball and Darwin talk to him. Later, he and Clare are declared king and queen of Elmore Junior High prom.
• "The Gift": He eavesdrops on Gumball and Darwin to find out what Masami wants for her birthday.
• "The Comic": He sings LaserHeart's theme song.
• "The Hug": He is in the hallway with Clare, Hot Dog Guy, and Idaho.
• "The Wicked": He runs from Mrs. Robinson when she goes on a joyride through the mall.
• "The Parasite": He appears in class and later appears playing dodgeball.
• "The Slap": Tobias slaps his butt.

Season 5

• "The Vision": He passes by Gumball in the hallway.
• "The Weirdo": He receives a gift from Sussie, and throws his pants in the trash along with the gift.
• "The Nuisance": He appears in class.
• "The Puppets": He is on the bus.

Season 6

• "The Faith": He is part of the crowd at Elmore Stadium, and joins the butterknife and several others in supporting embroidery over magic.
• "The Potion": He beats up Hector because he kissed Clare.
• "The Decisions": He talks to Darwin at the mall.
• "The Inquisition": He is at the meeting.

The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball

• "The Boring": He is on school playground where Gumball and Darwin would take his orange juice, despite telling them to hold it for him.
• "The App" He was one of the infected users of Clik-Sap
