James Hamilton is a British screenwriter and sketch comedian currently based in Los Angeles, California. He is best known for being a writer on seasons 4, 5, and 6 of The Amazing World of Gumball.
Career[]
He is also known for writing on many shows such as Unikitty!, Bravest Warriors, Space Chickens In Space, Sketchorama and as well as other animated shows currently in production. He has developed shows with DreamWorks Animation and Stoopid Buddy Stoodios.
He is also best known for being the creator and lead writer of both critically acclaimed UK sketch troupe "Casual Violence," and internationally lauded podcast sitcom series "Hector Vs The Future." His live comedy shows have been regularly programmed at high-profile UK venues including the Soho Theatre, the Lowry Theatre, the Leicester Square Theatre and the Pleasance Courtyard. With Casual Violence, as a solo act, and otherwise, James took twelve different shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival between 2010 and 2015.
As of 2021, he is currently working as a head writer for an upcoming animated science-fiction comedy series for Netflix.
