Sat in class bored, Gumball and Darwin listen as Miss Simian explains that the class has a guest speaker, a successful businessman, joining them to talk about how to be successful. Wearing a suit and tie, Patrick walks in and greets the class and Penny cheerfully. Gumball attempts to greet him in a friendly fashion, but Patrick ignores him with a scowl and turns to the class, introducing himself and explaining that he runs his own business. He then proceeds to give the class a motivational talk and tells them to go and succeed.
As they leave the class Gumball and Darwin, impressed by Patrick's speech, are motivated to succeed and discuss how to do so. Gumball quickly realizes that it was not the speech, but Patrick's suit that he was in fact impressed by. Having an idea the two run home. Quite loudly sneaking upstairs the two head into their parents' room and take one of their father's old suit out of the closet. Gumball tries it on but it is much too big for him, much to Darwin's amusement. Feeling something is not right, Gumball uses the left over sandwiches inside the closet to pad his shoulders. Suddenly, the suit transforms and Gumball is left stood in a now perfectly sized suit with impressively large shoulders. Darwin is in awe and asks to try it on himself, but Gumball requests that he try making a business deal first.
The next day at school Gumball reveals to Darwin that he now has his own office and is the school Principal. Darwin asks how he accomplished such a feat, and a flashback shows that he convinced Principal Brown by simply wiggling his shoulders at him. Darwin asks what he's going to do now, and Gumball has an idea. The school is then shown exploding, but it is revealed to be only a small model of the school that Gumball is excitedly performing a science experiment on.
Darwin insists that he have a go with the suit now, but Gumball asks again to do one more thing. The former is reluctant, but Gumball insists this will be the last thing. Now at Patrick's construction site, Gumball attempts to convince him to back down and stop interfering with his and Penny's relationship. Patrick simply throws him out of the construction site, however, much to his dismay. Finally agreeing to let his brother wear the suit, the two walk home.
Hours later Darwin goes to check on Gumball, concerned at how long he has spent in the bedroom, only to find the room completely transformed into an office. Gumball is sat at a desk, with significantly larger shoulders than before, as his father sits besides him acting as his secretary. Darwin asks when he'll get to have his turn in the suit and Gumball hesitates, reluctant to give it up. Darwin insists that he made a deal however, and shakes his paw to seal the deal. The power causes the suit to explode and sandwich fillings to fly out everywhere. Disappointed, Gumball finally lets Darwin use the suit. His brother looks at the destroyed suit however, and decides he no longer wants to. The two leave, and Richard tries on the suit himself. He notices something is not right, so stuffs a sandwich into his pants and enlarges his butt.
Dear Penpal[]
Anais sits in her room, writing a letter to her penpal. She recounts her eventful day, starting when her and her brothers watched a movie together with their father about ghosts that posses parents and make them stupid. Gumball and Darwin overreact and, believing Richard to be possessed by such a ghost, dress up as ghost busters to extract the ghost from him. Anais explains to them that Richard is not possessed, and is just genuinely that stupid, but the two pay no attention and prepare to exorcise the ghost from him.
Asking why she even bothers, Anais finds her mother asleep on the sofa, dropped groceries besides her. Deciding to help her she picks up the groceries, intending to take them into the kitchen. She drops them in fright however as she hears her father scream in pain. Imagining herself as a knight with Daisy as her noble steed she bursts into the kitchen, only to find her brothers attacking and attempting to exorcise the ghost from their father with hoovers. Anais, frustrated, asks the two what she just told them, and the two immediately apologise and lament in an exaggerated manor that theirs lives would be much better if they listened to her.
Back in the present day Anais chuckles and erases this part of the story, revealing it to be merely an imaginary scenario of how she wished the two had responded. Suddenly Gumball and Darwin enter the room, the former explaining that they saved some ice cream for her. Gumball notices her letter and asks what she's up to, and Anais deflects and tells him to mind his own business. He agrees and informs his sister that he believes the ghost possessing their father likes vanilla ice cream. As an amused Anais plays along with him and leaves the bedroom, the final line of the letter is revealed as it sits on her desk:
"They're lucky that I love them."

Trivia[]
- This issue debuts Penny's fairy design in the comics for the first time, having been revealed in "The Shell" two months prior. This, therefore, sets the issue as taking place after that episode.
- The mock ad for an album sung by Gumball's heart refers to him as Sugar Low, likely confusing the Sugar Low song for the character's actual identity.
- An early synopsis for the comic, released alongside many others before the comic's release, details an entirely different plot than what was eventually used, in which Gumball would have attempted to find a talent in order to make himself popular. It is unknown why this plot was scrapped.[1]
- This plot is very similar to the later released season 6 episode "The Sorcerer",
Goofs/errors[]
- Gumball and Darwin are shown going upstairs to reach Nicole and Richard's room, when in the show it is always shown to be downstairs next to the staircase.
