Home Alone Survival is an online game based on The Amazing World of Gumball. It was released on October 7th, 2021.
Story[]
One day, Richard and Nicole decide to go out and get Joyful Burger for the family. When Gumball and Darwin find that they are gone, they panic, believing that the two became rich and left forever to live a luxurious life. The two manage to calm down, but when they go to the fridge to get food, there is only a single potato inside. Gumball and Darwin begin fighting over what resources they can scavenge and quickly turn against each other.
Gameplay[]
The player controls Gumball attempting to survive while Nicole and Richard are out. At the bottom of the screen are Gumball's health (represented by hearts), hunger (represented by bags of chips) and his boredom meter. Gumball will lose health if he is attacked, and if he runs out he will die. Hunger drains over time and can be restored by eating food. Boredom also lowers over time and can be restored through various means of entertainment, such as breaking things. Gumball can use Z to break objects and collect resources from them, such as bushes, totems, vases and other objects from around the house, and X to eat food from his inventory. Gumball only has 5 slots, which can carry up to 10 of a specific material each. If Gumball's inventory is full, he cannot pick anything else up. He can drop items by clicking on them.
Gumball starts outside where he must build a camp to survive. Gumball gathers materials from inside and outside the house. Anais will also give Gumball materials, but provoking her will make her attack Gumball. Darwin is also a major hazard. Darwin will appear in random rooms and attempt to shoot Gumball with darts. If Gumball is hit, everything will go dark. Once Gumball wakes up, most supplies will have disappeared from his inventory and he will have taken damage. Darwin can be avoided by Gumball either using a hairdryer or going to another room.
- VICTORY: If Gumball can survive until Richard and Nicole get home, the player will win. Gumball will proclaim victory as the player will be awarded a medal depending on how well they did and how many stations they built.
- GAME OVER: If Gumball runs out of health, he will collapse, sad, as the environment turns black with a spotlight illuminating him. Darwin will then be shown proclaiming his victory as Gumball cries in the background. The message "Survival is about learning new strategies. Better luck next time!" will also appear.
Stations[]
The backyard serves as the home base. Here Gumball can build various structures with enough resources.
- Camp: Requires 1 towel, 3 rolls of tape, and 5 pieces of stuffing. Anais will appear next to the camp and occasionally give Gumball items.
- Penny Shrine: Requires 1 Penny Portrait, 10 pieces of stuffing, and 5 springs. It can restore health, hunger, boredom, or do nothing, depending on which color the wheel lands on.
- Hospital: Requires 1 first aid kit, 7 rolls of tape, and 7 pieces of stuffing. It is used to restore health.
- Arcade: Requires 1 television and 10 rolls of tape. It restores boredom by playing tic-tac-toe with Anais.
- Campfire: Requires 1 toaster, 3 rolls of tape, and 7 springs. It is used to create food items that restore more health than standalone food items.
- Chest: Requires 1 washing machine, 7 rolls of tape, and 7 springs. It is used to store items.
