The Hamburger Cop is a minor character in The Amazing World of Gumball. He is an anthropomorphic hamburger. Despite originally being a figment of Richard's imagination, he appears around Elmore in several other episodes, meaning he is actually real. He regularly appears as a police officer in "The Finale" onwards.

Appearance

The Hamburger Cop is made out of the usual hamburger components: the buns, lettuce, a tomato slice, and cheese, with him having two patties. He is also capable of being pulled apart (as shown in "The Butterfly" and "The Friend").

The Hamburger Cop also has fat arms that are colored orange, and equally fat gray legs. While on police duty, he wears a police hat.

Season 2

• "The Flakers": He is chased by Richard during his hallucinations due to anesthetics.
• "The Sidekick": He makes a cameo appearance.
• "The Limit": He makes another cameo appearance. 
• "The Finale": He appears in a police car with a French fry.

Season 3

• "The Name": He works as a police officer that tries to arrest the Wattersons.
• "The Extras": His first major role. He is in the hospital, and the doctor tells him that his cholesterol is too high. The doctor recommends that he becomes a veggie burger. He is also seen singing "Just Notice Us."
• "The Law": He appears briefly near the crowd of citizens.
• "The Shell": He appears in the audience (behind Nicole) watching the school play.
• "The Butterfly": He chases a flying twenty dollar bill.
• "The Friend": He works with the other police officers and the Donut Cop on trying to arrest the chimera.
• "The Oracle": He appears with the Donut Cop and a french fry at the Elmore Mall.
• "The Nobody": He can be seen waiting for hot dogs.

Season 4

• "The Apprentice": He and the other officers threaten to arrest Patrick for leaving Gumball unattended in his car.
• "The Traitor": He can be seen in a book in the hospital.
• "The Love": He arrests Richard for hugging Billy.
• "The Nest": He shakes his head no to tell the Donut Cop the missing people are not under a stone.
• "The Bus": He is part of the police officers chasing the school bus.
• "The Fury": He arrests the prisoners thanks to Nicole.

Season 5

• "The Rerun": He appears in a flashback from "The Bus;" later he is seen at the mall.
• "The Boredom": He gives instructions over a walkie-talkie to help the Donut Cop catch a speeding driver.
• "The Choices": He is seen protesting with Mr. Small in Nicole's flashback.
• "The Slide": Rocky, Gumball and Darwin push him out of their way to find Brydie.
• "The Fuss": Nicole unintentionally kicks him, and he faints before being able to write her a ticket.
• "The Heist": He is in the Bank of Elmore with the Donut Cop.
• "The Best": He is seen in a video of Carmen at Franklin Junior High.
• "The List": He is in the audience watching the play.

Season 6

• "The Father": He drives his car when Richard and Frankie are talking.
• "The Shippening": He, along with the rest of the police force, investigate the Awesome Store, and he puts on some glasses that he believes are magical, but are actually simply regular glasses.
• "The Understanding": He almost arrests Quattro and Siciliana.
