Guillaume Cassuto is a visual effects artist, writer, showrunner, and animation director born in Nancy, France and based in London, England, best known for being the creator of the Cartoon Network animated series Elliott from Earth[1]. He worked as a compositing supervisor and writer on The Amazing World of Gumball.
He left production for The Amazing World of Gumball on October 26th, 2017, describing the show as his "most ambitious and fulfilling project" he has contributed to[2], which was to be later revealed Elliott from Earth. On October 2019, he left his role as showrunner during the production of the first season due to parting ways with Cartoon Network, leaving the position to Mic Graves and Tony Hull.
He is currently working as a director and compositor on several animated television series, music videos, and short films, most notably the Amazon Prime Video animated series The Boys Presents: Diabolical and the Netflix series Love, Death & Robots.
