Character Information

The Game Child is a handheld video game console in The Amazing World of Gumball, made in Chainor and sold in the Awesome Store. Bought by Richard in "The Console," it powers an 8-bit game that Gumball tries to play.
However, at the end of "The Console," the Game Child turns into an enemy character inside the video game, and Gumball, Darwin, and Anais fight it, risking their lives.
Its name, the "Game Child," is a reference to the Game Boy, a Japanese handheld game console made by Nintendo.
History
After Richard gives Gumball the Game Child, he reluctantly plays an 8-bit role-playing game called Inverted Paradox: The Enemy Within. Starting the game, he gets mysteriously transported to his room. Darwin and Anais team up with Gumball, nicknamed "MYBUTT," to complete their main quest.
After battling a monstrous flower and completing several minor quests, Gumball, Darwin, and Anais encounter the van shopkeeper, who tells the heroes that the Game Child is the true enemy and is responsible for trapping Elmore inside the game.
The Game Child takes the form of a tentacle demon, and the Watterson siblings are troubled in defeating it. Gumball, using his telephone, summons his more powerful friends and family, who brutally defeat the creature and end the game.
