The Amazing World of Gumball's fifth season premiered in the US on September 1^st, 2016 with the episode "The Stories" (during Season 4's run). In the UK, the season premiere was "The Boredom" on November 1^st, 2016. The season finale aired on November 10^th, 2017 with the episode "The News" in the US, and the finale was on April 27^th, 2018 in the UK, with the episode "The Puppets." In total, the season consisted of forty episodes.
