Darwin's Yearbook is a spinoff mini-series based on The Amazing World of Gumball. It contains six episodes, each focusing on a different character related to Elmore Junior High. The mini-series primarily consists of excerpts from already existing episodes from Gumball. The series takes place sometime after the events of "The Inquisition."
It premiered in the US on December 14, 2019 and ended two weeks later on December 28, 2019.

The Gumball Chronicles (2020–2021)

The Gumball Chronicles is an eight episode spinoff mini-series based on Gumball, written and directed by voice director and picture editor Richard Overall. The series predominantly consists of clips recycled from previous episodes but features some new content. It premiered on October 5, 2020 in the US, and finished just over half a year later on June 20, 2021.
Four episodes collectively titled "The Amazing World of Gumball: Election Special," themed around the 2020 United States presidential election, aired on November 2, 2020, a day before Election Day.

The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball (2025-2026)

On September 21, 2021, it was announced that a new series and a new Gumball movie received a greenlight by WarnerMedia.[11] The season was confirmed to be in production by Emma Fernando, director of series production for Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, in December 2022.[12]
On May 19th, 2025, the first teaser for the season was released, revealing it would be released under the title "The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball."[13] The teaser features a fossilized Gumball and Darwin waking up in their house, which is now abandoned and in ruins, and realizing they had been asleep for 7 years and thus are late for school. It was also announced in the video's description that the season would be releasing on Hulu in the US and Cartoon Network in the rest of the world.
The first batch of episodes was released on July 28th, 2025 on Hulu in the US and on October 6th, 2025 internationally on Cartoon Network and HBO Max.[14] The second batch is scheduled to release on December 22nd, 2025 in the US and February 2026 internationally.[15]

The Amazing World of Gumball: The Movie! is the working title for a British animated television film based on the Cartoon Network animated television series The Amazing World of Gumball. It was officially announced to be in development on February 17th, 2021. The movie was originally intended to be the bridge between Seasons 6 & 7, until it was dropped from Max in 2022. Its status was unknown for the following 2 years, until at the Annecy Festival 2024 Ben Bocquelet confirmed that it was indeed still in production, albeit with major reworks and script rewrites.
