The clipboard men are minor characters in The Amazing World of Gumball. They are the administrators of Darwin's research in "The Genius." At the end of the episode, they return Darwin to the Wattersons after they realize that he is not a genius after all. Gumball's brain lies and tells them that Rocky was the real genius, and they leave with him instead.

Appearance

They are clipboards. Their arms, legs, and faces are designed in 8-bit fashion, suggesting that they are somehow technological. This is supported by their voices, which sound computerized, similar to Bobert's voice.

• "The End": One is seen on TV.
• "The Genius": Mike and another clipboard man give Darwin back to the Wattersons in exchange for Rocky.
• "The Curse": One is seen driving in a police car.

Season 2

• "The Internet": One appears in his car.

Season 3

• "The Extras": Their first major role. One is an employee at Chanax Inc.
• "The Boss": One calls Rocky in for his job application.
• "The Butterfly": One is stuck in the traffic jam which Mr. Robinson caused. One can later be seen driving past Mr. Robinson's car when he tricks the hobo.
• "The Spoiler": One appears at Elmore Cinema.

Season 4

• "The Check": He is seen working at Darwin's imaginary business.
• "The Parking": One is seen in the cinema.
• "The Apprentice": One gets chased out of the bathroom by Gumball.
• "The Traitor": One appears at the cinema.

Season 5

• "The Boredom": One tries to stop Gumball and Darwin in the street. Several more are seen later in the laboratory.
• "The Box": One gets attacked by zombies in Anais' fantasy.
• "The Menu": One is at the meat processing plant with Gumball and Darwin.
• "The Deal": One teaches the health and safety training at the Rainbow Factory during Nicole's rap.

Season 6

• "The Anybody": One appears watching Stellar Odyssey in the cinema.
• "The Faith": One can be seen on television holding a test tube containing a "new" color, "blred."
• "The Shippening": One is in his car.
• ”The Founder”: One works at Chanax. Later, another one named Jimbo later appears. Two run out of Chanax as it collapses.
• "The Understanding": Two run out of the bank.
• "The Wish": One drives.
