CARTOON NETWORK logo

Cartoon Network (often abbreviated as CN) is an American cable and satellite television channel which currently broadcasts The Amazing World of Gumball, along with many other shows. It was launched on October 1, 1992.

The main broadcasting headquarters is located in Atlanta, Georgia. Cartoon Network Studios and the West Coast headquarters are located in Burbank, California, and Great Marlborough Productions Limited, Cartoon Network Studios Europe, and the European headquarters are located in London, United Kingdom, as a division of Turner Broadcasting System, in turn a subsidiary of AT&T's WarnerMedia that also owns the channel HBO and Warner Bros.

Launched on March 17, 1997, Toonami airs action cartoons and Japanese anime hosted by TOM and SARA. Moltar, from Space Ghost Coast to Coast, was the former host of the block since its launch. The block on Cartoon Network ended on September 20, 2008. The block then appeared on Adult Swim on April Fool's Day 2012 as a prank, in place of Tommy Wiseau's film The Room, having aired it the past three years. By popular demand, the block returned and moved to Adult Swim, replacing the former ACTN block, on May 26, 2012. It airs every Saturday night from 11:00pm to 4:30am.
