Cartoon Network (often abbreviated as CN) is an American cable and satellite television channel which currently broadcasts The Amazing World of Gumball, along with many other shows. It was launched on October 1st, 1992.

The main broadcasting headquarters is located in Atlanta, Georgia on the Turner Techwood Campus and Williams Street. Cartoon Network Studios and the West Coast headquarters are located in Burbank, California in the Warner Bros. Discovery Second Century Towers, and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, and the European headquarters are located in London, United Kingdom, as a division of Turner Broadcasting System, in turn a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery that also own the channels HBO, Warner Bros, and the Max streaming service just to name a few.

Cartoon Network also has an adult-oriented programming block called Adult Swim (stylized as [adult swim] or [as]), which debuted on September 2nd, 2001. This channel block is not recommended for children under fourteen or seventeen. It airs daily from 5:00pm to 6:00am.

Launched on March 17th, 1997, Toonami airs action cartoons and Japanese anime hosted by TOM and SARA. Moltar, from Space Ghost Coast to Coast, was the former host of the block since its launch. The block on Cartoon Network ended on September 20th, 2008. The block then appeared on Adult Swim on April Fool's Day 2012 as a prank, in place of Tommy Wiseau's film The Room, having aired it the past three years. By popular demand, the block returned and moved to Adult Swim, replacing the former ACTN block, on May 26th, 2012. It airs every Saturday night from 11:00pm to 4:30am. A newer block, named Toonami Rewind, airs Friday nights from 5:00 to 7:00pm.

Boomerang is a TV channel operated by Cartoon Network that airs former Cartoon Network programming. It started as a programming block on Cartoon Network on December 8th, 1992, and debuted as a separate channel on April 1st, 2000.
