The butterfly is a single-appearance character in The Amazing World of Gumball. He first appeared in "The Butterfly," where he wreaks havoc all over Elmore.

Appearance

Unlike most characters in the series, the butterfly has a human head, which is a static image animated to convey expression. His thorax is multicolored and he has red wings with multiple black dots on them.

Personality

Seeing as how he is fully aware of his destructive powers, the butterfly has a malevolent personality and appears to enjoy causing mayhem.

  • His live-action face belongs to Chuck Klein, the show's former storyboard supervisor.
• His mere presence is enough to cause a catastrophe (i.e. a tornado) to occur.
