Betty MacArthur is a minor character in The Amazing World of Gumball. She made her first appearance in "The End" in the long line of customers. "The Catfish" revealed that she is married to Donald.

Appearance

She appears to be a puffy-looking piece of a chalkboard, with numerous chalk scribbles covering her body, some wrinkles around her forehead, and small, thin limbs. She has purple eyes, and yellow lips. She also carries a purple and yellow purse around with her.

• "The End": She appears in the long line of customers in the grocery store.
• "The Laziest": She is with the rest of the senior citizens and advises that Gumball and Darwin get Larry to compete in a lazy-off with their father.
• "The Kiss": She appears with the other senior citizens when Gumball and Darwin walk by them.
• "The Poltergeist": She is in the cinema in the flashback.
• "The Wand": She appears twice in the cinema.

Season 2

• "The Colossus": She appears with the other senior citizens during Hector's rampage.
• "The Job": She is seen sitting with other senior citizens while Marvin levitates.
• "The Watch": She is seen with Marvin and the other senior citizens.
• "The Tag": She drives her car.
• "The Finale": She and the other seniors chase after Gumball, Darwin, and Richard.

Season 3

• "The Extras": Her first major role. She is with the rest of the senior citizens, tap dancing and getting up as part of a dance.
• "The Mothers": Banana Barbara lets her go first in the elevator at the Elmore Mall.
• "The Lie": She is seen singing Sluzzle Tag carols with other citizens at the mall.
• "The Butterfly": She gets knocked down by citizens.
• "The Safety": She gets hit by a garbage can, then thrown by Darwin after asking if he and Gumball were okay.
• "The Countdown": She appears on the bus being driven by the manly warrior.

Season 4

• "The Crew": She is with the rest of the senior citizens; this is her second major role.
• "The Parking": The Wattersons are tricked into giving her a ride to the bus.
• "The Wicked": She is seen at Joyful Burger in Elmore Mall.
• "The Origins: Part Two": She walks on the sidewalk.

• "The Slide": She tells Gumball, Darwin and Rocky where she last saw Rocky's dream girl.
• "The Loophole": Bobert steals her purse at the mall.
• "The Console": She gets knocked out by Gumball, Darwin, and Anais in the park.
• "The Catfish": She appears in pictures from Louie's past.
• "The Deal": Nicole aggressively raps at her on the sidewalk.
• "The Nuisance": She is seen in a picture at Marvin’s house.
