Nah, its just you. Season 2 Animation style is completely different along with the character designs. The super noticable character design change is the oval to circle eyes for most characters. The backgrounds in Season 2 also have that feel that its always evening which looks absolutely stunning. Overall, if you gave someone any episode from season 2 to 6, they could instantly tell you whether it was fron season 2 or 3-6.
